Jarro Pichao Joins the Evergo Network of Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles

Bonao, Monseñor Nouel. Jarro Pichao restaurant joins the largest and most sophisticated network of stations for electric vehicles in the country, with the launch of a new Evergo electric charger; located at Km. 89 of the Duarte highway in Bonao, Monseñor Nouel province, a strategic point for those who visit the northern region of the Dominican Republic.

The installation of this Evergo charging station contributes to the purpose of continuing to promote and accelerate the development of a state-of-the-art charging infrastructure throughout the national territory, with an innovative and efficient solution that guarantees more sustainable mobility.

“The future is in the use of electric vehicles for environmental sustainability, that is why at Jarro Pichao we keep innovating by including Evergo electric charging stations in our parking lots, in order to provide an extra service to our customers, with different adapted spaces to every need, be it for your business meetings, having a good time or enjoying a gastronomic experience”, expressed Rafael Peguero, owner of Jarro Pichao.

On his side, Wellington Reyes, Commercial and Innovation Director of InterEnergy Systems Dominicana, the company that operates Evergo, stated that “the station inaugurated in alliance with the Jarro Pichao restaurant, considered a mandatory stop for many Dominicans who visit the Cibao area, responds to our objective of offering users an electric charging service that allows them to reach any destination with confidence and trust”.

With the integration of this charger for electric vehicles, there are already more than 250 Evergo charging points distributed in the four cardinal points of the Dominican Republic, contributing to InterEnergy Systems’ goal of reaching 500 electric charging stations by the end of 2021.

The recently opened station has two Level 2 chargers, known as “semi-rapid”, which will allow users to recharge their vehicles while enjoying a delicious meal. The operation of this station is under a self-service model, through the Evergo application, available in the App Store and Google Play, through which the customers can plan their route, reserve, pay through a virtual wallet and start charging, providing a differentiated service thanks to avant-garde technology.
