Evergo To Revolutionize Electric Mobility in Mexico with More Than 15,000 Charging Stations Planned

• The largest and most sophisticated network of charging stations for electric vehicles in the region, arrives in Mexico. This groundbreaking initiative results from the majority acquisition of E-DRIVE, a leading Mexican company in infrastructure solutions for electric mobility, with an investment of USD$200 million over the next 5 years.

Mexico City, November 15th, 2022 – With an increasing number of electric vehicles on the road, the main challenge electric mobility faces is to guarantee an adequate supply of electricity that ensures range, low cost and most important, practical, efficient, and advanced charging solutions.

Evergo, the most sophisticated and largest network of electric charging stations in the region, arrives in Mexico through the acquisition of E-Drive, a leading company in providing solutions for charging electric vehicles, in order to promote electric mobility throughout the country. In the upcoming years it will offer a powerful network of more than 15,000 new public and residential charging stations to connect major Mexican areas, with an investment of USD$200 millions over the next five years.

Both companies combine their experience to expand existing residential networks with a leading-edge technology system, like “My Evergo”; a pioneering charging service for electric corporate fleets, “Evergo Fleet”; as well as the deployment of the largest and most sophisticated public charging network in the country.

Evergo Mexico offers level 2 alternating current stations of up to 20kW; and level 3 direct current chargers of up to 600kW of power. These chargers allow full charge of a vehicle in less than half an hour. Another competitive advantage offered by Evergo is that electric vehicle users will be able to connect through a common intelligent platform. All stations will be affiliated to the network used in an increasingly growing number of countries.
