CEPM and Evergo present a historic day for Padel with World Champion Sanyo Gutierrez
La Altagracia, August 20, 2023– CEPM and Evergo, leaders in energy and electric mobility solutions, held in Cana Bay an exceptional day, where nearly thirty paddle players had the unique opportunity to interact and learn from world champion Sanyo Gutierrez.
With a forward-looking vision, CEPM, Evergo and Cana Bay are working together to create an experience that combines sport, wellness and sustainable tourism in one place. “Today, together with you, we celebrate the perfect fusion between sport, wellness and the passion that a discipline as exciting as paddle tennis brings us,” said Roberto Herrera, country manager of InterEnergy Group, parent company of CEPM and Evergo”.

The day began with an exclusive breakfast, which brought together more than 40 participants, including local journalists and communicators, sports enthusiasts, special guests, and executives from CEPM, Evergo and Cana Bay, where they had the unique opportunity to get to know this renowned international player. In addition, the shared space became a platform for exchanging perspectives and visions, highlighting joint efforts to promote initiatives that enrich the quality of life and promote well-being at all levels.
The mayor of the Veron Punta Cana Tourism District, Manolito Ramirez, was also present at the event, highlighting the importance of initiatives that unite sports and sustainability in his community. But the real star of the event was the iconic Sanyo Gutierrez, a world reference in the world of padel who not only shared his vast knowledge and experience, but also actively participated in the day.
Registered players had the opportunity to learn techniques in paddle clinics taught by Gutierrez himself. Organized in groups of three players, this structure encouraged close interaction with the talented Argentine athlete, allowing attendees to hone their skills under the tutelage of a true expert.
The culmination of the day was an exciting exhibition game, which attracted a large and diverse audience, including members of the community. Three lucky CEPM clients had the honor of facing Sanyo Gutierrez on the court in an exciting match full of skill and passion. Attendees enjoyed a high-level sporting confrontation, framed in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and contagious energy.
The facilities chosen for the event were the distinguished courts of the Cana Bay Racquet Club, located in Punta Cana. This unique event, supported by CEPM and Evergo, has become a milestone in the promotion of sustainable tourism and sport, leaving an indelible mark on padel enthusiasts and the community as a whole.
