Evergo highlights the future of electric mobility at the Sustainable Mobility 2023 Expo Fair
Santo Domingo, June 3, 2023 – Evergo, a leader in charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, participated in the “Electric Mobility 2025” panel organized by Vehículos Eléctricos RD, as part of the Sustainable Mobility 2023 Expo Fair at Metro Plaza, where the latest models of electric cars available in the Dominican market were exhibited.
During the event, the future prospects, opportunities and challenges facing electric mobility in the Dominican Republic were discussed, as well as the solutions that Evergo is implementing to drive a successful transition to a more sustainable mobility.
“We strive to make the most of our energy and expertise to constantly improve the user experience, creating competitive and innovative solutions and adding the best features to our products,” said Joan Felix, senior superintendent of Innovation at Evergo.
The executive highlighted two new solutions ‘Evergo Fleet’ and ‘MyEvergo’, both tools for the management of residential and business chargers, which allow the management of electric energy and provide advanced technological conveniences for the user of electric vehicles. The company also announced the development of the Caribbean’s first electric station in the Dominican Republic, Evergo Connect, which will have Level 2 and 3 chargers, powered by 100% renewable energy.
Evergo also offered exclusive promotions in collaboration with dealers and presented its innovative solutions during the show. It also exhibited its innovative electric bus, which traveled from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo, representing a significant step in the quest to electrify public transportation, one of the most polluting and CO2 emitting sectors. In commemoration of this year’s Environment Day, whose theme is “No Plastic Pollution”, Evergo supported this important cause by giving away reusable bottles. This gesture sought to raise awareness of the need to reduce the use of single-use plastic and encourage the use of sustainable alternatives among attendees.
